Lufthansa is now offering a new tracking device for cargo shipments that can provide valuable information including location /temperature /humidity /pressure and vibration ("Sendum PT300 and PT300D"). Airline/Aircraft Dry Ice Restrictions

When arranging shipments containing dry ice as a coolant keep in mind that airlines have different restrictions on the quantity of dry ice per shipment, compartment and aircraft type. According to a spokesman for the Port of Los Angeles, protesters caused minor traffic delays for trucks coming in and out of terminal gates earlier this week. U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will begin enforcing the Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP) on May 30, 2017. FSVP will require U.S. food or food product importers to perform risk-based activities to verify that imports have been produced in a manner that meets applicable U.S. safety standards.
